Caroline Parsons is based in Japan. Her pictures have appeared in

publications such as Forbes, BusinessWeek, Fortune, Time and Newsweek.

She has published two books:

People the Japanese Know (Japan Times, 1989)

Voice: Teenagers Predict the Future (Kawade Shobo Shinsha 2002)

She shot, co-produced and directed the video documentary Voices From the Future (2003), which chronicled The 17s Project, an exploration of the future young people imagine.
